From Day to Night with Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette | Wearable Look

I love trying new eyeshadow palettes as much as the next girl, but I struggle finding one with wearable shades. Until now, my go-to was bareMinerals Bare Neutrals palette. The range of neutral matte and shimmery shades never makes me look harsh or overdone. And while they are pretty pigmented and perfect for daytime, they are a bit subtle and need to be built up to really make an impact. Sometimes I want a more dramatic look without piling on a ton of product or having to blend so hard, you know? In comes Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette. If you’re intrigued by Modern Renaissance but think it’s a little too bold for everyday, this may become your new favorite palette too.

What I love about these shades is you really get the best of both worlds. It’s got rich, warm terracottas, peachy transition shades, shimmering jewel tones, and your basic neutrals to blend it all together. In other words, it’s perfect for going straight from work to happy hour with little effort. The shades go on super pigmented and blendable, and give just enough drama and pizzazz.

Intensified for my anniversary dinner

Intensified for my anniversary dinner

For the daytime look, I mixed Orange Soda and Burnt Orange for my transition shade, and accented my crease with Rustic and a little bit of Sienna. Then, I took Cyprus Umber and messily lined my lids. I applied Tempera to the inner portion of my eyelid and brow bone as a base, and then popped Glistening in the center of my eyelid, blending in towards the inner lid.

At night, I just wet a thin eyeliner brush and applied Noir close to my lash line. Once it dried, I used a round brush to smudge. I also topped my lids with more Glistening for extra shine and added Mulberry to my crease.

I love how these shades show up on camera and how intensely they wear without looking overdone. I find myself reaching for this palette almost as much as my OG bareMinerals, and there are still shades in it I haven’t even tried yet. It’s still early to say, but I think I’ll most likely be hitting pan on most shades in this one!
