MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Reformulation | Unboxing, Swatch & Review

Note: I received this product free from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.

I love Make Up For Ever and have quite a few of their products, so I was super excited to try the newly reformulated HD foundation. I remember when this foundation originally dropped and how revolutionary it was. At the time, the original formula was one of the first of its kind that truly gave an airbrushed, camera-ready finish.

According to Make Up For Ever, this liquid foundation was reformulated to meet the demands of 4K camera technology. It boasts a lighter weight texture meant to blend seamlessly into the skin. They also extended the shade range to a whopping 40 shades. MUFE recommends applying with a flat foundation brush and I would agree with that method. The formula is neither runny nor thick but definitely more on the watery side, so a damp sponge may sheer it out too much. The formula is perfectly suited for application with a synthetic brush.

It definitely is a lighter coverage foundation, so if you like heavier coverage you may want to skip this one. However, it wears beautifully and feels light on the skin which is great for the summer. It didn't settle into pores or fine lines which is a rare find for me.

This gives natural-looking, breathable coverage and lasted 8+ hours in the heat.
