Bridal Beauty Must-Haves

Bridal Beauty Must-Haves

I can’t believe it, but I am getting married in less than 3 months! Since I got engaged a little over a year ago, my wedding date seemed so far away but now it’s almost here :) :) :) We are having a simple destination ceremony on the beach and almost all of the planning is done…we have our rings, my dress (which I cannot wait to blog about!), officiant, hotels, etc…. and I still have not decided on a hair/makeup look.

I’ve been experimenting with some different ideas but haven’t fully made my mind up yet. That being said, there are some products I know for sure I will be using. So today I want to show you guys a few staples that are perfect for a bridal look.

Stay tuned for more in-depth bridal posts/tutorials to come.

I may not have my look pinned down yet but I know for sure I want my skin to look glowing and luminous so I will be using….highlighter! and lots of it. One of my favorites is Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm which I love for an inner eye/brow bone highlight as well as swiping my cheekbones with it. I recently picked up Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder which I’m anxious to try. I will have a detailed post on this soon.

For my eyes, since I’m getting married on the beach in the late afternoon, I was inspired by, well…a sunset! I picked up the sexy neutrals palette by bareMinerals because it has some rose-toned shades in it as well as lighter shimmery colors to add some pop. Most of these shades will work well for allover lid & crease colors. If I want a deeper accent color, I also have the bare neutrals palette which has some great everyday brown shades that will pair perfectly.

This next product is sadly discontinued and one of my all-time favorites, Too Faced Candlelight Powder. Now, now, you say, that’s not discontinued, but I’m not talking about their highlighter duo. This is the OG powder that originally sold me on the fact it has real gold in it. I can’t say I ever noticed any extraordinary effect from the gold itself? But it blurs my skin so nicely and makes me look airbrushed and softly luminous without any gaudy shimmer or shine, so it’s a must-have in my book. You may be able to track this one down on eBay before it's gone forever.

More products to come! I’d love to hear about your favorites and add to this list :)

P.S. Some links are affiliate. Much love and thanks if you choose to use them :) Thanks for the support.
